Sandbank is optimized for team collaboration
Sandbank includes features specifically designed for teams and client-facing collaboration:
- Every user belongs to at least one organization
Members inside one organization:
- Work in one shared workspace
- Can access the same data and dashboards if permissions allow it
- Share configurable notification channels
- Can mention and notify each other in text elements
- Are managed centrally (team, roles, access rights, plan, billing)
Organization
After login, users land in the workspace of their primary organization. The organization connects members through the collaboration model above.
A user can belong to multiple organizations and switch between them in the workspace, or create a new one if required.
Shared workspace
In the workspace, all dashboards created by organization members are grouped and linked. You can restrict who can see specific data and dashboards.
You can also add text elements for notes. Inside notes, you can mention other team members with @ and notify them directly.
Notifications
For relevant events, users can receive notifications in-app and/or by email via team notifications, including security-relevant events and team actions.
Each user controls which events and channels are active in their own settings.
Mentions
When writing in workspace or dashboard text elements, users and user groups can be mentioned with @.
All mentioned users receive a notification in the application.
Administration
Owners and admins can open Administration and manage organization settings. Editors and viewers cannot access this area.
This includes inviting and removing members, adjusting roles and access rights, plus managing plan and billing settings including invoice download.
